5 Hour Adelaide Hills

The Adelaide Hills are a multicolored atmosphere of nature experiences, so close to the city and easily accessible to those who wish to spend half a day or a few days. With the scenic beauty changes with every bend, the Adelaide Hills are a pleasing place to relax shop and explore. Here in Adelaide's pantry, market gardens and orchards share the hillside with the vineyards that supply more than 30 wineries in the region. There are also historic villages with galleries, gift shops and friendly pubs.

Tour Includes:

  • South Eastern Freeway - The South Eastern Freeway, South Australia's first ever freeway was built in the mid 1970's and links Adelaide with rapidly growing regional centre of Murray Bridge.
  • Mount Lofty Summit - At 710 meters above sea level and with fine, breath taking panoramic views, this spot marks the highest point of the Mount Lofty Ranges. You may also choose to enjoy a coffee at the café.
  • Cleland Wildlife Park * - Offers visitors an opportunity to walk through large enclosures and thereby interact with Australian animals such as kangaroos, koalas and emus, and to see others including wombats, dingoes and many reptile species.
  • Stirling, Aldgate & Bridgewater – Quaint hills villages with intimate character.
  • Hahndorf - Settled by German migrants in 1838, offers wide range of attractions and souvenir shopping opportunities. Hahndorf is renowned as the premier tourist town for the region.
  • Beerenberg Strawberry Farm & Jam Factory * - Pick your own strawberries. Try freshly picked strawberries and ice-cream. Stroll along the beautiful rose covered walkway and enjoy the perfume of pink roses that are harvested for the production of the famous rose petal jam.
  • Melbas Chocolates - See, Hear, Smell, and Taste. Melba's has viewing barriers and windows installed for visitors to see the Chocolate Factory in action.

8 Hour Barossa Boutique Wineries

The Barossa Valley offers a range of different styles of wines but it also offers a variety of winemaking methods. Family traditions and winemaking secrets have been passed down from generation to generation.

We have designed a day tour with theses low volume, boutique wineries in mind, which offer their wines for sale mainly at cellar door only. The visitor has an opportunity to buy wines, which are not generally available at bottle shops due to limited production.

The eight-hour day takes us through the townships of Gawler, Sandy Creek, Lyndoch, Rowland Flat, Bethany, Tanunda, Menglers Hill look out, Marananga and Nuriootpa.

  • Kies Estate – Specialises in red and white table wines, sparkling wine and fortified wines.
  • Heritage Wines – committed to producing exceptional quality varietal wines with emphasis on regional fruit characteristics & unique big-hearted Barossa styles.
  • Rockford Wines – Traditional full bodied dry table wines.
  • Turkey Flat - Intense, concentrated fruit from ancient vines set Turkey Flat wines apart and have made them sought after the world over.
  • Bethany Wines – Bethany Wines being run by fifth and sixth generations of the same Schrapel family, the vines` life cycle continues in much the same way as it always has, with minimal intervention to produce the best possible grapes and wines.
  • The Willows Vineyard – Wines that are 100% Barossan and sourced entirely from their own single vineyard.
  • Vine Crest - A boutique family owned winery producing premium wines of individual character and style from their own vineyards situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley.
  • Kalleske - family owned winery and vineyard farmed since 1853 with the oldest remaining Shiraz vineyard dating back to 1875. Produces award winning hand-crafted genuine estate wines from wholesome grapes that are grown organically.
